Oxidized Black Rectangle Hoop Earrings — Solid 925 Sterling Silver

These long rectangle hoops are hand hammered in my Pacific Northwest studio from solid recycled 925 sterling silver, then oxidized to a matte black patina that won't irritate even sensitive skin. If you can wear sterling silver, you can wear these.

The oxidized finish gives them a flat, dark charcoal-to-black tone that pairs effortlessly with everything — and unlike plated finishes, the color comes from the metal itself.

I have a BFA, 5 year degree, in metal design from the UW Seattle 1998 and I run a small, environmentally responsible studio. The silver I use contains 50–90% post-consumer recycled content sourced from long-established U.S. suppliers who work with fair-labor mines. Jewelry is made in small batches using hand-forming techniques rather than casting, so each piece is repairable, recyclable, and built to last. Forming the metal by hand strengthens it, creates subtle surface variation, and results in earrings that are strong and comfortable for daily wear.
