5cm long oval 925 sterling silver earrings with mesh perforated holes | Oxidized black
These 925 sterling silver dangle earrings are handmade by me in the Pacific Northwest of North America.
They are lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Light shimmers through the holes as you move.
They have been oxidized, or tarnished heavily, also called a patina.
They are a matte, flat black, or dark charcoal grey that does not irritate the skin.
If you can wear sterling silver, you can wear these oxidized sterling silver earrings.
I punch the holes one at a time, which work hardens the silver and makes for a lightweight and very strong design.
Because my jewelry is made using hand fabrication techniques, it has lightness, durability and detail unachievable via mass production.
I strive to run an environmentally sustainable business.
SIZE: 50mm x 18mm x 4mm deep
GUARANTEED forever against breakage due to normal use.
SUSTAINABILITY: I use silver and gold with a post consumer content from precious metals manufacturers that purchase new metals from fair labor practicing mines.
I believe that purchasing high quality jewelry with a post consumer content that is repairable and recyclable is very important.
I make jewelry in small batches, minimizing waste and resources wherever I can.
My manufacturing processes strives to strengthen the metal by using hand forming techniques en lieu of casting processes.
Materials: recycled silver, solid 925 sterling silver, handmade silver ear wire hooks, oxidized black silver, french ear wire hooks.
