Silver Hoops, Satin

Handcrafted one pair at a time in my Pacific Northwest studio, these matte satin sterling silver hoop earrings are made from solid 925 sterling silver — hand hammered to create strong hoops with subtle surface variation that can't be replicated by machine.

The matte satin finish is achieved by hand-polishing the hammered surface to a soft, low-sheen glow. I offer a wide range of sizes from 12mm to 55mm diameter and widths from 1.5mm to 4mm, so you can find exactly the scale that suits you.

With over 30 years of metalsmithing experience and a BFA in Metal Design from the University of Washington, I design for longevity — every pair is heirloom quality, repairable, and made from post-consumer content recycled sterling silver sourced from fair labor suppliers in the USA.

Caring for your satin hoops: Sterling silver will develop a natural patina over time. To maintain the matte satin finish, avoid prolonged exposure to body products, salt, or chlorine, and remove before bathing or swimming. A light polish with a soft cloth will restore the shine.
